Results are presented for a preliminary biological survey carried out in Novemebr 1981 of nineteen streams and rivers draining the Coromandel-Kaimai Ranges and for several sampling survey made between March 1982 and January 1983 of streams in the Kuaotuna, Whangarahi and Waiomu Catchments.
