Summary: Relationships between paua maturity and length (and other morphometric measurements) were investigated. Additionally, growth increment models were fitted to tag release-recapture data. Both sets of analyses were conducted at the site level for all available growth and maturity data. For sites that had both maturity and growth data, yield and spawning per recruit analyses were conducted to evaluate the trade-off in yield and spawning potential resulting from the current and alternative MLSs.
