Locality and habitat of the surviving populations at Masons bay is described. The plant now appears to be extinct in the Oreti river area, Southland. Recommendations are made to reserve the population at Mason Bay; that burning be stopped in the area and <Lupinus arboreus> be removed from the immediate vicinity. (auth)
