The effect of cultural changes on these characteristics has also been studied. This paper is a report on the Manukau City Experimental Basin in which the hydrological effects of urbanization are studied. Included in the paper are reports of related studies in urban hydrology which are carried out near the experimental basin. The objects of the project are (a) to determine the influence of urbanization on flood peak discharges flood volumes and on the hydrological regime in general, (b) to develop and test a mathematical model to predict flood peak discharges in New Zealand's urban catchments, (c) to provide data for refining existing urban stormwater drainage design techniques, (d) to provide design data to assist in the solution of particular stormwater design problems within the catchments being studied.Item type | Current library | Call number | Copy number | Status | Date due | Barcode | |
