The papers cover most aspects of the theory and practice of land treatment, and describe the New Zealand and overseas experience with this form of waste treatment. The proceedings are in two parts. Part I contains papers on land treatment of sewage from centralized sewage works, and on-site disposal of domestic wastewater. Part 2 includes papers on the treatment of industrial and agricultural wastes, and aspects of design, monitoring and research of land treatment of wastes.
